About us
HSS Defense provides consulting, staffing, & research solutions to the Military & Law Enforcement community as well as other qualified Federal Agencies.
What makes HSS Defense unique is our multi-disciplinary approach that is grounded in real world experience. We believe that use of force training can and should evolve, and that evolution should be heavily reliant on science and empirical data in addition to real world experience. We routinely bring together scientific/academic researchers and the military/law enforcement training community to collectively help develop better research protocols, data collection methods and analysis which result in more effective tactical training programs and lethality focused equipment decisions.
Our collaborations have resulted in multiple presentations at scientific and criminal justice focused conferences both nationally and internationally. Furthermore, the strength and validity of this work is evidenced by multiple publications both in press and under review with high level, peer-reviewed, scientific journals.
